75 Veterans of Freedom Village at Brandywine Honored for Service to Country and Community

COATESVILLE, PA — Seventy-five Veterans of Freedom Village at Brandywine were honored Sunday, September 25, 2022, at the Washington Memorial Chapel in Valley Forge, by having “Veterans of Freedom Village Brandywine” commemorated on plaque 26 and added to the Veterans Wall of Honor.

The Washington Memorial Chapel houses the National Patriots Tower and overlooks the fields where General George Washington trained his Revolutionary War Army. The names of more than 1,000 Veterans are cast in bronze on the Tower’s Wall of Honor – these names include those who have served from the Revolutionary War to the present. The Reverend Tommy A. Thompson, rector of The Washington Memorial Chapel, officiated at a special service of dedication for the most recent Wall of Honor Veterans.
